The Human Cannabis Medicine Experiment

THCMEs primære formål er på sigt, via vores fremtidige THCMEs Uddannelsesakademi, at uddanne vores kommende medlemmer til selv at kunne dyrke cannabisplanter med og uden THC, såvel som producere fx CBD og THC-olie til eget forbrug. Hertil er formålet ligeledes at starte THCME Farmhouses, således at foreningen selv kan producere og levere cannabismedicin til de af vores medlemmer, der ikke selv har mulighed herfor. Sekundært er foreningens formål i fremtiden at starte mindre (non-profit) TCHME Social Clubs, hvor kommende medlemmerne udover at kunne deltage i forskellige arrangementer, også kan mødes med andre ligesindede i sociale rammer.
Ydermere er formået på sigt at indsamle såvel som at formidle anonymiseret viden om vores medlemmers erfaringer med cannabismedicin herunder dens (bi)virkninger via THCMEs Vidensakademi. Foreningen har derudover til hensigt at opbygge et THCMEs Advisory Board beståede af relevante fagfolk som f.eks. sygeplejersker, læger, advokater og socialrådgivere på både det juridiske, politiske og samfundsmæssige område samt et THCMEs Legal Team til at støtte foreningen i dens arbejde.
Ideen bag THCME tog form i foråret 2017, som en nødvendig reaktion på et møde mellem to gamle folkeskoleelver, der ikke havde set hinanden i over 30 år. Den ene havde desværre få år forinden fået stillet diagnosen multipel sklerose og havde brug for cannabismedicin for at komme igennem døgnets timer uden for mange smerter og med en vis funktionalitet. Den anden, indså at hvis hun skulle hjælpe sin gamle folkeskoleven, skulle der ske noget drastisk. Ikke bare for hans skyld, men for de mange tusinde andre sygdomsramte, som står i samme situation. Hjælpen skulle dels bestå i at sikre adgang til gratis rådgivning (THCMEs Rådgivningsteam), adgang til billig kvalitetscannabismedicin (THCMEs Farmhouses) og endnu vigtigere skabe et fællesrum, hvor man kunne møde andre i samme situation (THCMEs Social Clubs).
I foråret 2018, blev de indledende skridt til stiftelsen af THCME som forening taget, hvilket nu gør det muligt for os at løfte sløret for vores arbejde i forhold til kampen om retten til cannabis som medicin. Du vil her på vores hjemmeside kunne læse mere om vores tanker bag THCME samt om vores forskellige fremtidige tiltag som Farmhouses og Social Clubs, der i første omgang vil blive afprøvet i et pilotprojekt uden for Danmarks grænser, hvor projektet i højere grad kan søsættes inden for de gældende lovgivningsrammer. I Danmark tillader lovgivningen endnu ikke et tiltag som THCME, men det er vores forhåbning – gennem politisk arbejde og øget viden på området – at lovgivningsrammerne i fremtiden ændres, så THCME også kan få realiseret sine visioner og projekter i Danmark. Det handler om at sikre adgang til rådgivning, billig kvalitetscannabismedicin og et fællesrum for alle borgere, der har brug for medicinsk cannabis.
